Welcome to Your Home Away From Home!
Nestled in the breathtaking North Georgia mountains, the Bald Mountain campus at Elohee Retreat Center was intentionally designed to create space for rest, reflection, healing, and deep connection. Surrounded by towering trees, winding gravel paths, and the quiet beauty of nature, this peaceful sanctuary offers the perfect backdrop for women who are ready to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
Our retreat experience will include access to beautiful gathering spaces like Mandala Hall and the Forest Studio, along with serene spaces throughout the property including the Reflection Pond, Fire Pit, Tea House, Spa, and Gift Shoppe.
Participants will stay in cozy mountain cottages thoughtfully woven throughout the property, creating an intimate village atmosphere that encourages both personal restoration and meaningful sisterhood.
Whether you are sipping tea under the trees, walking the peaceful trails, gathering around the fire pit, or simply breathing deeply in the stillness of the mountains, every detail of Elohee invites you to slow down, exhale, and begin the work of unmasking in a safe and nurturing environment.

“I’m Kaara. I’m a licensed therapist, specializing in trauma and relationship issues, and the creator of the UNMASKED Women’s Retreat. But more than that, I’m a woman who knows what it feels like to carry a lot—to be strong for everyone else while secretly longing for rest, healing, and a safe place to just be.
For over a decade, I’ve had the honor of walking with women through heartbreak, transitions, and deep emotional healing. My heart beats for creating spaces where women can lay down the weight, be seen without performing, and reconnect with the woman God always saw—whole, worthy, and deeply loved.
This isn’t just a retreat—it’s sacred space to come home to yourself.

What Your Retreat Program Fee ($2,500) Includes:
Your UNMASKED Retreat Program FEE covers the full retreat experience, including all workshops, therapeutic experiences, group sessions, activities, curated programming throughout the retreat.
Please note: room and board are NOT included in the retreat ticket price and must be booked separately through Elohee Retreat Center after completing your retreat registration.
Once you purchase your retreat ticket through Authentic Marriages, you will receive a private booking link from Elohee Retreat Center to reserve your room directly with the property. Accommodation costs will vary based on the room option you select.
Available room options with Elohee include:
• Private King Room (single occupancy) with En-Suite Bath - $1,457.28
• Shared King Room (double occupancy) with En-Suite Bath - $988.64

Because room and board is booked separately, your retreat registration is not considered fully complete until both your retreat ticket AND accommodations have been secured. Purchase Your Retreat Ticket (accomodations booked separately)
Your second step is to secure your retreat ticket through Authentic Marriages. The retreat investment is a flat rate and includes your full UNMASKED experience — workshops, therapeutic experiences, group sessions, activities, and retreat programming. Early Bird pricing is $2,500. Once your retreat ticket is secured, you will receive a private booking link directly from Elohee Retreat Center to reserve your accommodations separately.

After paying your retreat program fee, you'll receive a secure payment link to select your room and meal preferences from Elohee Retreat Center. This allows each woman to choose the room experience that best fits her comfort level and budget. Accommodation pricing is set directly by Elohee Retreat Center and will vary based on the room type selected. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to reserve your accommodations early once registration opens.

After registering, you’ll receive a welcome guide and support to help you prepare emotionally, spiritually, and practically for the weekend. Come exactly as you are. You don’t have to perform here. You’ll be met with warmth, sisterhood, and the kind of rest your soul has been craving.

All meals from dinner Thursday night to lunch on Sunday is included. All meals will be served at a specific time each day.

UNMASKED was created with Black Christian women in mind—because we carry unique burdens that often go unseen. While we welcome others, we hold sacred space for the lived experiences of Black women, and ask all attendees to honor that with humility and care.

This retreat is deeply rooted in faith, and therapy. If you’re open to those experiences, you are welcome here. Anyone from any faith is welcomed!

You don’t need to be in therapy to attend—but you do need to be open. Open to reflecting. Open to feeling. Open to being gently stretched toward freedom. We’ll walk with you every step of the way.

No, transportation is not included in the retreat cost. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Elohee Retreat Center. Once registered, you’ll receive the address, recommended arrival times, and helpful tips to make your journey as smooth as possible.

Because this is a small, intimate retreat with limited spots, all payments are non-refundable. However, if you're unable to attend, you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend or another woman who needs this space. Just let us know so we can help with the transition.
